Flowerbed gardening

I've had some seeds laying around the house for years. My flower bed infront of the house has been bare for years. I just didn't have the time to tend to it. Then a few weeks ago I had this idea..... (me and my ideas) that I would just plant what ever seeds I have in this flowerbed and watch and see what happens. 

So far, the pumpkin seeds and cucumber seeds have taken off. It's probably a little late in the season to be planting these things, but I'm curious to see what happens. 

 

 I received a packet of Zinnia's from a penpal and let my grandson Dominic plant them in the garden two days ago. If you look to the right, you can already see it sprouting.
