Ordering Ancestry Certificates from Berlin

Here is the order form for the marriage record (Heiratsurkunde) at the archive LAB. The form is in German and I will add a screenshot of parts of it in English for orientation what it says. The order will cost about €30.

In the order form you have to write down the following:
names, the date of marriage (August 1932 and if you have the day), the record number Nr. 281/1932, the name of the civil registry office (Standesamt) Berlin IX and the repository number PRep. 806 Nr. 896 (which is found at the beginning of the name list of the LAB)

You can send it by email: benutzerservice@landesarchiv.berlin.de (see the second link)

A very helpful lady gave me this information:

In case you want to order the birth certificate for Rolf Willi Hans Poncé (born 4 July 1931, civil registry office Berlin IX, birth record No. 1317/1931), you have to order it at the civil registry office (Standesamt) of the Berlin district Mitte. It is stored there because the privacy time has not expired yet. They will most likely ask you for a copy of a document that will prove a direct relationship to Rolf.

Fees are around €10. When you order the birth record please ask for a copy of the record with all margin notes - Ich bitte um eine Kopie mit allen Randvermerken.

Below is the link to the website of the civil registration office Berlin Mitte. They have an online order form, too, only in German. Usually they will send out an email to you telling you to pay before they will mai/send you the copy of the record. What I don't know is what payment methods there are for this office. Usually they want the money transferred to their German bank account where you will have extra costs. Maybe someone here has knowledge how to best handle this with a money tranfer service or such.

See link "here" and "here".
