Why Quilts cost so much!
For those of you lucky enough to have someone love you enough to make you a quilt... Appreciate it. Blood, sweat, tears and money went into it. Take care of it, do not use it as a dog bed or moving blanket. Wash it with care, ask someone who knows what is the best way to preserve it.
It is a work of art.

Thanks, Stefanie for sharing some useful links on quilt making. One of my close friends gifted me a quilt before ten years, and I treasure it even today. It is a perfect piece of artwork. I follow various Painting and Handicrafts blogs, as I have just started with quilt making.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my blog. I am happy that I was able to help out. I treasure anything homemade and just wanted to share the love. I myself haven't been quilting that long either and have little time as a teacher to attend classes. I depend a lot on the internet, You-tube and Facebook quilting groups. I learn along the way.
