Embroidered a Cross on fabric today. I‘m planning on using this one on a remembrance quilt I‘ve been working on for a long time. Hopefully I will have it done soon. The Economy Block can be found in „The Romance of the Patchwork Quilt in America“ Page 52, No.15 and in „The Collectors Dictionary of Quilt Names and Patterns“ by Yvonne M. Khin. 1 x A - 2“ x 2“ 1 x B- 2 6/8“ 2 x C- 3 3/8“ Draw an „X“ on the „B“ squares and cut into fourths. Draw a diagonal line on block „C“ and cut. Place block „A“ in the inner square and sew triangles from „B“ around the edges. Sew on outer triangles „C“ and complete the square.
