Summer Quilt Class

Not so classical quilting Starting a new annual project that my young / old sewing friends can do. The goal is to sew a throw / bed sized patchwork quilt for themselves. They get to choose fabric squares, stitch them together, back, topstitch quilted lines and then bind into a quilt which they take home and keep. I provide most of the fabrics, upcycled sheets and clothing but they have to bring a few personal pieces to incorporate into the quilt. Links: Quilt Glossary

Low Carb Breakfast

Hello friends, Welcome to my breakfast page! I‘m actually not a big breakfast eater- most of the time I grab a shake and/ or coffee to go. But once or twice a week I enjoy something different. Hope this helps.... Breakfast sausage from Schwans and eggs Click below for more information.....

July 11th Challenge

Creating a challenge for my paper crafting friends. For the week of July 11th create and make as many Birthday cards as you can. Maybe enough for the rest of the 2022 year. Use the material you have on hand and get creative. I made an organizer to put cards in by month, that way at beginning of the month allI have to do is pull them out and mail them. I feel bad because certain months of the year are busier than others and I tend to skip over certain friends / family due to time restrictions. Facebook also makes it way to easy to wish someone happy birthday- but cards are just do much more meaningful.
