What you need as a beginner quilter
I‘m a beginner quilter myself and here are some tools that have really helped me get started:
- Sewing Machine
- Circular cutter
- Lots of rulers
- Cutting mat
- Quilt labels created by me
- Ironing board
- Iron that shuts of when not in use (it's been a life saver for me)
- Wool ironing mat
- Spray bottle (not just any spray bottle)
- Clips
- Scissors
- Thread
- Fabric
- Tubs, boxes (scrapbook boxes) to hold fabric
Quilting is not cheap! Building a stash of fabric takes time and money.
