Quilters Pressing Mat

Purchased this gem today: It really makes things nice and smooth and takes out all the wrinkles. My new mister, instead of using the steam option on my iron.  F abric tags " here "

House patterns

Farm house: Easter house block: I’m excited that my little bunny house has been completed. I know some of the measurements are a little off, but that’s what makes it unique.  Sending the floral bunny house to Robin, I hope she likes it.  Other houses: https://www.bearcreekquiltingcompany.com/media/uploads/2019/01/25/files/Annie_Annies_House_Free_Quilt_Pattern_by_Windham_Fabrics.pdf

Quilt row 3 - Chubby Chevron

Yippee! Row three has been completed. Here is my sewing machine: This super awesome sewing machine was given to me by my best friend Racheal one of the nicest and sweetest people that you will ever meet. On this sewing machine I have learned how to make my first quillow and quilt squares.

Just for fun

Happy National Quilt Day Freebie!

I got tired of making little tags to keep up with my fabric scraps, so I printed some tags on pink stock paper that I purchased from Amazon.com and laminated them. Now, I can re-use the tags over and over again as much as I please. If you are interested in printing out your own just click on the link below, it can also be edited to fit your needs. Have fun quilting! link: printable tags my next project ideas

Lichtenstern

My grandmother Hildegard was raised in an orphanage in Lichtenstern, Germany as a young child. She told me that her parents weren’t allowed to get married and that she was born out of wedlock. Now it’s used as a nursing home for the intellectually disabled and the elderly. More links: Heilbronn

My Spring Break Goal

As teachers we find little time for ourselves, so then we try to cram in stuff during the free time we do have. I don’t know why, but I am still working on my first quilt .... wondering if I am ever going to finish that thing. My plan was to at least finish one row ( Row Nine- Twinkly Winter Stars). Which I completed today. Tomorrow, I will attempt row 7.    My husband had this idea of eating chicken and fish for a month (March Madness), so I am also planning on being a good little house wife and actually cook some dinner meals. Tonight’s plan is Buttermilk Chicken.   Daisy and Piper my pups are really excited to have me home this week and enjoy the snuggles while binge watching “Åžura & Surat” on Netflix. It’s super addicting especially since it’s based on a true story. Definitely- a must watch. Links: My next project ideas
