Lichtenstern

  My grandmother Hildegard was raised in an orphanage in Lichtenstern, Germany as a young child. She told me that her parents weren’t allowed to get married and that she was born out of wedlock. Now it’s used as a nursing home for the intellectually disabled and the elderly.
