Quilt row 7 falling leaves

Instead of brown stems, I used green. I didn’t like the way the green stems looked, so I changed it to brown. It turns out that I had my measurements off anyway. I’m really getting into this whole quilting thing. Joined seven quilt groups on Facebook full of events, ideas and swaps. Maybe ... I’ll give some of these a try. Low Carb Diet is working

Wow! I’m amazed - first diet other than the Paleo diet where I see instant improvement. In one week, I have lost 7lbs.

Chicken & Fish for a month!

My husband approached me with a wonderful idea this month. He mentioned that we both could eat a little healthier and what if we just ate chicken and fish meals for a month? So, we are going to be adventures this month and have chicken and fish for the next 30 days. Let's see what happens.... Day 1: Chicken a la king - see recipe " here ". I forgot to thaw out the puff pastry shell, so we ate it with angel hair pasta instead. It was still very delicious. The next day I used the puff pastry shells as sides instead. Day 2: Chicken Penne Alfredo , Spinach & Cheese Swirls and desert Mini Strawberry Napoleon . This dish was a hit with the family and they absolutely loved the desert. Day 3: Chicken (and Ham) Cheese Sliders My husband wanted to cheat today and asked for ham.
