Fahlo Stuffies

I adopted four more Fahlo friends for my classroom. Two elephants and two dolphins.

Making your own binding

Instead of buying binding, I make it from my fabric remnants. For kiddie blankets I make it fun by cutting 10” strips with 2.5” width and rotate the colors and patterns.    After cutting the fabrics to size, I see the pieces together right sides together- making a long strip. After ironing the seams down. I fold the fabric in half lengthwise and roll it up in one big roll.  Click " here " for directions on how to bind a quilt.
