Diet Journal

Day 1 Breakfast I made banana bread this week and decided to have a slice of that despite it being high in carbohydrates partnered with a nice hot cup of chocolate.  It’s a little high in carbs, but could have been worse if I ate donuts. Plus I think maybe banana bread can’t be all bad with some fruit in it? I recently read that I need to remove caffeine from my diet - which includes coffee and chocolate milk. I don’t like that idea at all- but maybe I can do less than normally? I just like the warmth those beverages provide it is so soothing feeling the warmth going down my throat into my stomach area. But supposedly it’s bad?  Lunch:   Tomato soup and strawberries  Tik-Toks: Ed Making Brisket

Triangle Combination Quilt Block

Not perfect, but different. I haven’t mastered my triangle points yet. Maybe the measurements were off- not sure. But this is my January 20th Block and as of right now - I am all caught up on my 365 day quilt challenge. I’m doing better then I thought I would.  Pictured below are the other blocks I made today:

Chicken Wrap

Fast and easy light lunch or dinner meal. Takes approximately 15-20 minutes. It only requires a handful of ingredients and is also a great way to use up left over chicken.  I combined some leftover chicken with the canned chicken and warmed it up in a pan. Added some salt and pepper, Caesar salad dressing and oregano. After it was warmed up I topped it with some Parmesan cheese and put it in a green lettuce wrap. It was very tasty!

Dementia

It’s called the long goodbye. 😢 Rapidly shrinking brain is how a doctor described it. I wouldn't wish Dementia or Alzheimer's on anyone. As the patient's brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are. Patients can eventually become bedridden, unable to move & unable to eat or drink. There will be people who will scroll by this message because Dementia or Alzheimer's has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has fought a battle against Dementia or Alzheimer's. In an effort to raise awareness of this cruel disease, I would appreciate it if my friends could put this on your timeline.  My grandmother (Oma) has been fighting this horrible disease  for a year now.  Thank you! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎💔 #ChallengeAccepted #FacebookChallenge Links: Fidget Blanket

Chicken Parmesan

First Cook chicken breast in heated pan with olive oil. Cook down tomatoes into liquid form, season with salt & pepper. Add spices of your choice; Italian seasoning, basil, parsley, onion powder and/ or minced garlic. Super easy to make, takes about 15-20 min.  Enjoy!  Do you have left over chicken? Here is another great recipe that can be used with the left overs „ here “. Video Clip „here“
