A message for the heartbroken: I’m sorry. I’m so sorry that you have to sit there, tears streaming from your sad eyes, crying all alone. All the while telling everyone that you’re fine and you’ll be ok, as you say it shakily with a lump in your throat.  I’m sorry you’re hurting. I wish I could take it from you so you don’t have to feel it. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Not even the one who hurt me so deeply. I won’t tell you everything’s going to be ok. Tonight's quilt. I had another bunch of odds and ends. So we have a queen "ugly" quilt.  Note: the Ugly comment is a term we use for the beautiful quilts. Twas 2 days before Christmas, with bad weather reports, and the folks of Killeen  and Copperas Cove were out wearing shorts. Rushing to Wal-Mart for some milk and potatoes, and maybe some candles in case of tornadoes. While many are dreaming a Christmas of white, I'm wondering if I'll need my A/C tonight. Sharing Hands Project ~ We still have room for more participants!!  Join in on the FUN!!! For family- (Will raffle for next reunion!!) Must have a minimum of 20 participants minimum.  (Family Members)  Please join in on the fun!! “Sharing Hands“ This is a finished 10" block with your hand appliqued or drawn on the block . You may applique or draw it any way you want. I encourage creativity! Just cut your squares at 10.5 inches then applique your hand . It’s that simple . Rules are : 1) sign up 2) use 100% cotton fabric and pre-wash your fabrics 3) mail them by the deadline . 4) sign your blocks with your name , birth year, city and state .
