World Aids day is on December 1st! I wasn’t aware of this day until a friend named Marla Moley informed me of it. She told me that she had made on many years ago and that it is now one of many that are displayed at the Washington memorial. If you google name quilts, tons of pictures will appear with acres and acres of quilt. It has to look even more amazing in person, because I was already blown away. When you start reading the messages on the quilts it gets really emotional. I started to tear up while reading a few and then tried telling my husband about it. I couldn’t get the words out because it was so sad.
