🌿 Welcome to the Art‑Life Coaching

A gentle beginning, piece by piece

Thank you for saying yes to being part of this early test group. Your presence here matters. This space is an experiment in creativity, reflection, and self‑connection — and you’re helping shape what it becomes.

Art‑Life Coaching is a new approach I’m building through Piece by Peace Art Life, and this pilot group is where it begins. Together, we’ll explore how simple creative practices can support clarity, grounding, and gentle personal growth.

You don’t need art skills. You don’t need to “perform.” You don’t need to know what you want to work on. You just get to arrive as you are.

🌱 What You’ll Experience

During our sessions, you’ll be guided through creative prompts designed to help you slow down, notice what’s happening inside, and make meaning through color, texture, and metaphor. You can expect:

  • simple, accessible art‑making

  • space to reflect without pressure

  • gentle questions that support your own inner wisdom

  • a client‑led pace — you choose what feels right

  • a supportive environment rooted in emotional safety

This is not therapy or art therapy. I don’t interpret your art or diagnose anything. Instead, we stay in the realm of creativity, intention, and future‑oriented growth.

🎨 What You’ll Need

You don’t need anything fancy. For most sessions, you can use:

  • paper (any kind)

  • markers, crayons, or colored pencils

  • scissors and glue (optional)

  • old magazines or scrap paper for collage (optional)

If you prefer digital tools, that’s welcome too.

🌼 Your Role in the Test Group

Because this is a pilot, your experience is part of the creation process. You’re invited to:

  • notice what feels supportive

  • share what feels unclear or unnecessary

  • offer reflections after sessions

  • help shape the tone, pacing, and tools

Your feedback helps me refine this practice so it can serve others with the same care and intention.

There’s no pressure to share anything personal. You choose what you offer and when.

💛 What I’m Holding for You

My intention is to create a space where you can:

  • reconnect with yourself

  • explore gently

  • feel supported without being analyzed

  • make meaning through creativity

  • take small, aligned steps toward what matters to you

This work is about honoring your inner voice — not pushing, fixing, or interpreting.

🌟 Thank You for Being Here

Your willingness to participate in this early stage means more than you know. Together, we’re building something thoughtful, creative, and deeply human.

Fidget Blanket (Fummeldecke) Ideas

This will be my first time ever making a fidget blanket- I was so happy to have the opportunity today to gift my Oma a fidget blanket. I love her with all my heart, it just makes me so sad that not much can be done for her while struggling through dementia. She told me it was beautiful and she appeared to like it. I showed her each square and what she can do with it. The first thing she noticed was the wording; „Mit Liebe Gemacht“ which translates to „Made with love“.  Oma Hildegard is German and I wanted to make sure she would recognize things and always remember that we love her.  What is a Fidget Blanket? Fidget blankets are therapeutic small lap quilts to which different kinds of things are sewn or added on. These items offer sensory stimulation that can have a calming effect on patient who struggle with memory loss. The Fidget blankets help them stay busy avoiding boredom. It provides a means of performing repetitive behaviors that are often reassuring and calming. ...
