Emotional awareness is the quiet skill of noticing what’s happening inside you. Not fixing it. Not explaining it. Not making it smaller or bigger. Just noticing.

In coaching, emotional awareness helps clients understand their needs, values, and boundaries. But talking about emotions can sometimes feel overwhelming or unclear. Creative check‑ins offer a gentle alternative — a way to explore feelings through color, shape, texture, and movement rather than words alone.

These practices are non‑clinical, meaning they don’t diagnose, treat, or process emotional distress. They simply help you tune in, stay present, and understand your inner landscape with compassion.

The Low Oxalate Diet

A low-oxalate diet is a diet that is low in oxalates. Oxalate is a chemical found mostly in plant foods. A low oxalate diet can help prevent future kidney stones.  The most common type of kidney stone is calcium and oxalate.
