Oma Hildegard is going to Rehab

Poor Oma broke her leg this week. She‘s 93 years old and has to go to rehab away from family and German speaking people. Oma speaks very little English and hates being away from my mom. 

She speaks The Schwäbisch dialect of German and was born in Heilbronn, Germany. Her and my mom are like two peas in a pod. With the whole Covid 19 thing going on I was hoping that people could send her some happy mail. 

Oma loves anything German to read, word searches and chocolate. We are afraid with her being away from us and not being able to have visitors that she may give up. We aren’t ready to let her go and want her to get better. I just hate that we can’t visit her while she recovers.
