Gefüllte Paprika (Stuffed Bell Peppers)




Ingredients:
Onion, garlic, bell peppers, small can tomato sauce, egg, paprika, tomato and beef bouillon. Ground beef, butter and flour.


Melt butter and sauté onion, until clear and glassy. 






Set aside onion mixture in bowl for meat mixture.


 Create meat mixture using the ground beef, rice, garlic, an egg or two, season well with salt and pepper. Create balls to fill the bell peppers and turn the remaining meat into little meatballs. 
 


Melt 1/4 cup butter in pan with 1 tablespoon flour. Let it mix well, then add the vegetable broth, tomato sauce, tomato bullion and beef bullion for flavor. Allow it to boil slightly for the flavors to blend nicely. 
Add salt, pepper and tablespoon brown sugar for flavor. 

Add bell peppers to the sauce with meatballs. Bake in oven at 350 for 60 minutes or on stove until meat temperature is safe.
