Rutherfordton Global Roots Mural Project

I joined this initiative because it allowed me to participate in something bigger. I appreciate nature and painted something that was light and free. I made a simple U-tube video

to go along with the painting - on how to use Q-tips for painting. That way my students can watch the video The flower that I drew reflects dandelion clocks that are ready to be blown to be carried through the wind.

This project is more than just art; it's a reflection of people across the country / world. Thanks to Lewis Lavoie, the artist whose vision brought us together. Through his work he brings people together in most meaningful and unforgettable way.
