1. Sex: Female

• The "Gravid Spot": In both images (especially clear in image_2.png), you can see a distinct, dark triangular patch near the anal fin. This is the gravid spot, which is a definitive trait of a female guppy.
• Body Shape & Coloration: She has a rounder, thicker silvery-grey body, and her primary coloration is concentrated mainly on her tail and dorsal fin, which is classic for female guppies. I purchased her as a blue nebula- but her tail has some orange/ red coloring.
2. Strain / Type: Nebula / Mosaic or Leopard
While female guppies are much less vibrant than males, her specific markings give away her genetic strain:
• Half-Black Influence: The back half of her body (just before the tail) scales into a distinctly darker, charcoal-grey shade compared to her light-colored front half. This indicates she carries the (Half-Black) gene.
• Tail Pattern (Mosaic / Leopard / Lace): Looking closely at her caudal (tail) fin in image_2.png, you can see a fan shape with a dark variegated pattern—dark spots or bars over a lighter white/grey background. This is typically classified as a Mosaic or Leopard pattern.
3. Current Behavior Note: Fry Watch?
Because she is currently hanging out in what appears to be a breeding box or mesh isolation breeder net, her dark gravid spot and slightly squared-off abdomen suggest she may be pregnant and getting ready to drop fry soon!
