About Me
Welcome to my happy place!
I am a German/ American who is happily married to my wonderful husband Ed. I am a 2nd grade teacher, mother of seven grown kids and two spoiled fur babies (Daisy & Piper). I love to create, design, research, teach, and inspire others.
I have many hobbies one of them is to host crafting classes at my house. I am a part time “Independent Designer /Hoarder & Sewista”. I enjoy creating things and believe that handmade gifts are special gifts from the heart. It is so enjoyable to send out a stunningly handmade greeting card and / or special handmade creations. In the world of crafting, possibilities are endless!
I started taking inventory of all of my stamps and supplies and quickly realized how great it would feel if I actually started using more of the supplies that have rather than constantly buying new ones- or more likely: the supplies forgotten!
I hope that you will join in the spirit of the blog and shop your stash first when crafting. There will be a few "challenges" on various arts/ crafts throughout the year. I hope you will enjoy shopping your stash along with me!
I also have a small online shop of new & used items that I sell.
August through June I concentrate on my teaching (teacher mode time) and look for ways to make learning enjoyable. I believe learning should be planful, purposeful & playful for students. I like to challenge myself to help my students to love learning!
On my free time I like to work on genealogy research- genomics fascinates me, reflect, sketch/ draw, design fabric, read, quilt, garden, occasionally cook, manage my online store and most of all - spending time with family. Family is my everything!
